An incredible opportunity is available for young riders to be mentored by the super talented Paralympic double Gold medallist Natasha Baker, MBE.
Natasha, 25, is the globally recognised dressage champion who won two Gold medals for Britain in the 2012 Paralympic Games and has won numerous Golds in international competitions. Natasha is now training hard with the hope of being selected for the Rio 2016 Paralympics.
Natasha has transverse myelitis (inflammation of a section across the spine) that she contracted when she was 14 months old. The nerve damage left Natasha unable to feel her legs. She controls her horse using her seat and her voice. She was awarded an MBE in the 2012 New Years Honours list.
Jo Hansford, who specialises in equine photography, is teaming up with Natasha to find young West Country riders who want to take their skills to a new level.
Three riders will be chosen for this sponsorship/mentoring, and each will receive:
• two one-to-one mentoring sessions with Natasha Baker, MBE
• a visit to one of Natasha’s favourite stables to meet her face to face and share experiences with other young riders
• a photoshoot of the young rider and their horse by Jo Hansford Photography
• a Jo Hansford Photography-branded gilet and horse blanket
Natasha Baker, MBE said: “I am so thrilled at the idea of working with talented young riders to help them reach their full potential. I have experienced so much already in my career and I am very excited at the prospect of being able to pass on some of my knowledge.”
