Pete Finch (who appeared in our April issue, in a feature on carriage driving) is raising money for the Midlands Air Ambulance.
Carriage driver, Pete Finch, will be driving his horses around 100 miles to raise funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance on Saturday, 17th May.
The circular route will be from Pete's home in Ashleworth,Gloucestershire to Hay-on-Wye, Powys and he will drive four individual horses, with each horse driving 25 miles.
As a member of the Hereford and District Driving Group, the idea for the journey was conceived when discussing how long it would take to drive and visit the Chairman of the group, Neville Jones.
Pete can be sponsored at www.justgiving.com/Pete-Finch. He said, "I have been present at a few accidents where the air ambulance was used and I find it unbelieveable that this valuable resource is is funded entirely by the public."
