Britain's largest rehoming charity will be bringing some of their horses to Wincanton Racecourse
World Horse welfare will be at Wincanton Racecourse on Sunday October 27th to promote their rehoming scheme.
The number of people rehoming horses has dropped by 32% while the number of horses needing to be rescued is on the rise.
The charity is bringing horses to the races to highlight the range available for rehoming. Copper, Maddie, Snoopy and Bess will all be in the parade ring before the race at 12.15pm. There will also be representatives from the charity on an information stand to meet supporters.
The gates open at 11am and the last race is at 4.35pm, World Horse Welfare have sponsored a hurdle race that will be run at 2.20pm.
The charity has also been able to arrange for 2 for 1 admission and supporters can use the code: Quote WHW27 when booking tickets.
