Customers can either drop or post their old bits to the retailer’s headquarters in Kent, or drop off at their stand at various shows this season and help equine friends overseas.

The Gambia Horse and Donkey Trust is a charity that aims to reduce rural poverty in Gambia through improving the health, welfare and productivity of working animals.

Alison Nye-Warden, Managing Director of Dressage Deluxe explains:

“This is a fantastic cause. With our customers help, we can actively assist in preventing suffering to horses and donkeys abroad by donating our unwanted bits. Most of us have a tackroom full of old bits and this is the perfect way to put them to good use and give to a worthy charity.”
