World number one dressage rider and double Olympic gold medallist Charlotte Dujardin is putting some of her posessions up for auction, in a bid to raise money for a charity that helps working equines.

The 13 auction lots were used during her dressage career to date and include a riding hat and boots she used at the London 2012 Olympics. Also up for grabs are a signed numnah and a pair of Valegro's horseshoes.

Money raised through the auction will be donated to The Brooke and will be used to help some of the two million working horses, donkeys and mules that live in the world's poorest communities. Charlotte is a global ambassaddor for The Brooke and earlier this year travelled to India to see the charity's work first hand.

"The trip to India really highlighted what a difference The Brooke makes to the lives of working horses and donkeys and I hope this auction raises some much-needed funds to continue their work," said Charlotte. "Happy bidding!"

The online auction runs until 3 January 2016. To view the lots or to make a bid, visit: www.jumblebee.co.uk/charlottedujardin
